Most people have had a nightmare about something crawling into bed with them at some point. For one elderly woman, that nightmare turned out to be very real! Linda Chen was fast asleep in her own bedroom when a massive snake slithered inside, made its way onto her bed and sank its teeth into her leg. At first, she assumed she was simply caught in a bad dream. It did not take long for her to realize this was no dream at all!

Waking up in pain in the middle of the night is unsettling enough on its own. Waking up in pain because a wild predator has found its way into your bedroom is something else entirely! Linda felt a sharp bite on her leg and shot upright, disoriented and unsure of what had just happened. When she reached for a flashlight and pointed it toward the floor, she noticed something moving. It took a few seconds for her eyes and her mind to catch up with what she was actually looking at. She suddenly realized that a large snake was inside her bedroom!

Too frightened to deal with the situation alone, Linda got up and rushed to wake her son, who was asleep in the next room. Fortunately, he had installed a security camera in her bedroom some time earlier, mostly as a precaution. That camera ended up capturing the entire, terrifying sequence of events from start to finish, and the footage leaves little to the imagination.

Linda’s son quickly called animal control, and rescuers arrived before the situation could become even more dangerous. After searching the house, they eventually discovered the giant snake curled up on the toilet seat, a place no one expected to find it! The rescuers carefully captured the animal and removed it from the home. Linda was finally safe, and the unexpected visitor was later released back into the wild. What began as an ordinary night had turned into a terrifying encounter Linda and her family will never forget. After seeing the footage, it is easy to understand why!
