Several tall objects stood against the wall, carefully covered with old white sheets. Why would someone have gone to the trouble of protecting them? Charlotte carefully removed the sheet and couldn’t believe what she was seeing! Beneath it stood a dressmaker’s mannequin wearing an elegant, unfinished gown. The fabric was delicate, the stitching was incredibly detailed, and the dress looked like something from another era. But it wasn’t the only thing she saw!

She uncovered another mannequin, then another. There were beautiful dresses in different colors and styles, some nearly finished and others still missing their final details. Along one wall stood a cabinet filled with fabrics, ribbons, and sewing supplies. Charlotte quickly realized that the shed had once been someone’s private sewing studio.

As she continued exploring, she discovered a collection of fashion sketches on the worktable. Each drawing showed a carefully designed dress, complete with measurements and handwritten notes. The name Isabella appeared in the corner of several pages. But it was a small notebook hidden inside one of the drawers that really caught Charlotte’s attention.

The notebook revealed that Isabella had dreamed of creating her own clothing collection. She had spent years designing dresses, choosing fabrics, and imagining the little boutique she hoped to open one day. But judging by the unfinished garments and forgotten drawings, that dream had never become a reality.
